Plucking
Harvest the most tender parts of the tea tree, typically comprising two leaves and a bud.

Withering
Lay out the freshly plucked leaves to facilitate moisture evaporation and soften the leaves.

Rolling
Roll the withered leaves to break the cells, releasing the tea juices and aromatic compounds.

Fermentation
Place the rolled tea leaves in a fermentation room to allow oxidation of the tea polyphenols, developing the characteristic color and flavor of black tea.

Drying
Dry the fermented tea leaves with hot air to halt the oxidation process and preserve the flavor.

Grading
Classify the dried tea leaves based on leaf size, shape, and quality.
